Hello Gin/Yan/Zhen Family members and Friends,
Thank you for taking the time to show interest in possible volunteer opportunities in the future.

I am an active volunteer here at NBC Universal and continue to seek opportunities to help our local communities.
I and my wife Dale, have been with the Mark Keppel Family since 1996. Our four children all have graduated from Keppel (2000, 2002, 2004 and 2007)
I am also the current Mark Keppel High Alliance President and on the Personnel Board at the City of Monterey Park.
I will be using this site for future volunteer opportunies from GE, NBC Universal and also Asian Pacific American Forum (APAF) all organizations that I belong to.

2007 Los Angeles Spring Banquet

On March 18, 2007 the Gin/Yan/Zhen Association held it’s annual New Year dinner at the Empress Pavilion Restaurant in Los Angeles Chinatown. It was well attended with over 270 family members attending the event.

It was a time for the whole Gin/Yan/Zhen Association (GYZ Assoc.) to gather to share family stories for the past year, to renew old friendship, to make new friends and to meet other member the family. Most of all it was time to share a meal together and to wish everyone Happy New Year and have a prosperous and healthy New Year. We like to thank all who attended.

It was wonderful time as William once again MC the event, in which, he did an outstanding job as always. Making sure the event moved along and everyone was engaged.

A big thank you goes to Jimmy, Frank and Bob for organizing the raffle to raise additional funds for the GYZ Assoc. They also donated all of the prizes that were given away that night. We raised a little over $500.00 that evening and we like to say “Thank you” to everyone for participating. The grand prize was an Ipod Nano and there were over 20 other plus prizes given away that night.

We like to thank the following people who helped sell tickets that night. Dale, Diane, Tiffany, Justin, Brianna, Lila and Mei. Lila and Mei got our young kids to participate by wishing everyone a Happy New Year and than receiving a little gift.

Also the GYZ Assoc. gave out their annual scholarship to a deserving student currently attending a 4-year university.

It was such a fun and enjoyable evening. Thank you once again for attending. Please keep in touch as this year we will be planning for a GYZ picnic. Stay tune for more up and coming events from the Gin/Yan/Zhen Association-Los Angeles.
